To open Windows Registry press Win + R, type regedit and press ENTER; alternatively, press Win + C, click Search, type regedit.exe and click on the show result.
Enable Windows Defender Anti-Adware Feature
Navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender\MpEngine; if the MpEngine doesn’t exists right click on Windows Defender folder and create new key with that name.
Now, create a new value inside the MpEngine key. Right-click MpEngine and choose New > DWORD (32-bit) Value. Name the new value MpEnablePus and set the value to 1 in the “Value data” box.
Exit Registry Editor, and then restart your computer.
Add Your Own Apps to the Context Menu
You can create registry keys to add specific apps to the Windows context menu, for example Notepad.
Navigate to “Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell”.
Under the “shell” folder right-click and create a new key called “Notepad,” then within that create a key called “command.” In the “command” key folder right-click the “Default” string, then in the Value box type “notepad.exe.”

If you have several windows of the same application open when you click on the icon in the taskbar a small thumbnail image of all the windows are displayed. With this hack, when you click on the icon for a program with multiple instances open, it will take you straight to the last active window.
Navigate to “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced”. Create a new 32-bit DWORD called “LastActiveClick” and give it a value of 1.
Remove OneDrive from Explorer
If you don’t use OneDrive for your cloud storage you can remove it from Explorer.
Navigate to the following key: Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6}.
Change the value of “System.IsPinnedToNameSpaceTree” to 0 and restart your computer.
