Make Google Drive powerful with these scripts

Reading time: < 1 minute

Drive is the popular cloud storage service by Google.
Maybe you don’t know that you can execute interesting tasks using the Google Apps Script scripting language.

On Internet you can find scripts ready to use, just follow the instructions in the posts:

– a Google Sheet is used to send a daily report of all the files in your Drive that have been created or modified in the past 24 hours.

– this Google Doc add-on allows to save everything from Gmail to your Google Drive. The add-on runs every hour but if you would like you can manually start the downloads as well.

– create a regular web form (written in HTML and CSS) and then use script to upload the content of this form into a folder in your Google Drive.

Find Who has Access to your Files and Folders in Google Drive – the script can scan your Google Drive and prepare a list of all files that have ever been shared from your Google Drive.

Set an Auto-Expiry Date for Shared Files and Folders in Google Drive – the script can set an auto-expiry date for shared files and folders, after that they will be set as private. You just need to specify a date and time when you want the shared links to expire.
