Time ago i reviewed<\/a> here on Simo blog the very good OSForensics program for Windows in beta version.<\/p>\n

With this software you can discover relevant forensic data faster, identify suspicious files and activity, organize information and create reports about collected forensic data.<\/p>\n

Recently the version 1 has been released with various improvements (see changelog<\/a>). As usual you can download it from that page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A big thanks to Passmark that gives a great chance to Simo blog readers to win 1 license of the Pro version of the software, it costs 499$! As you can see from the comparison chart<\/a> with the pro version you can benefit unlimited case management, unlimited disk indexes and searching, restore delete files, better support (phone, email, forum).<\/p>\n

WHO CAN JOIN:
\nanyone that has a blog, a Twitter account or a Facebook account<\/p>\n

CONTEST TERMS:
\nthe contest will run until 31 October<\/p>\n

HOW TO JOIN:<\/p>\n

– who has a blog\/site can write an article with link to this review\/contest and at least the words \u201cSimo blog\u201d and “OSForensics”<\/p>\n

– who has a Twitter account can tweet this article<\/p>\n

– who has a public Facebook profile can like this article<\/p>\n

Finally leave a comment with your data (valid e-mail address) reporting the link of the post on your blog\/site, or the tweet address or your Facebook profile address to verify the share (your accounts addresses \/ e-mail address \/ blog-site address will not be used for any other purpose).<\/p>\n

I remember that the comment must be unique for who has a blog + associated Facebook profile and\/or associated Twitter account, you just must use only one of these \u201cchannels\u201d.<\/p>\n

New Facebook\/Twitter accounts (<500 tweets, <50 followers) just created for partecipate to the contest will not be considered.<\/p>\n

The winner will be randomly extracted at the end of the contest (names will be associated to progressive numbers then extracted via Random.org<\/a>) and will be contacted by e-mail obtaining the license of OSForensics pro.<\/p>\n
