For my blog readers, i list software and tools (mainly free) that i use in my blog activity, i divided them into offline, so the programs directly used from O.S. and online, so the services used from Internet:
offline:
Mozilla Firefox (naturally the browser takes the main part in my activity; personally i don’t use any offline editor and Firefox is my favourite, even if, especially when i must modify the theme, i check the rendering in Internet Explorer too; im considering to use Google Chrome too mainly for extensions wich some of them are so useful for blogs)
Filezilla (it’s the FTP client that i use for upload files in web server)
Notepad++ (the editor i use for WordPress files and theme)
Super Finder XT (i use this great program for local file search and mainly when i need to search strings inside files)
Greenshot (very good and lightweight screenshot maker)
Corel Photo Paint (shareware, the program i use for image editing)
online:
Imageshack.us (image hosting)
Mediafire (file hosting service)
Picasa (as above)
Google Adsense (for advertising in my blog)
Google Analytics (for blog statistics)
Google Webmaster tools (for the various site management tools)
Services for share articles (Twitter, Facebook, social bookmarking sites)
