How to configure Tor to choose the node of a given country

Through the famous network Tor, you can surf the web anonymously and secure.
There are several online services that are permissible and accessible only from certain countries.
Through these simple steps we show you how to use Tor (using the server of the country we want) and
then the IP address of Tor through our navigation will be specific to that country.
After downloading and installing all the Vidalia bundle we see the steps (such as it is done in a Windows environment):
Figure 1: Open the Vidalia control panel and once you are connected to the Tor network, click "Show Network".
Figure 2: Here you will see a geographic map with servers / nodes that are currently connected, locate the country that
you wish to use and note down the names of servers identified there (if not available immediately, try again by
clicking "Re-load").
Obviously, you should choose those with more yellow markings – these indicate a faster speed.
Figure 3: return to the control panel Vidalia. This time, press "Settings", then go to the tab "Advanced". Here click on Browse for the configuration file.
Figure 4: Locate and open the file named "torrc" with a text editor.
Figure 5: Add the 2 lines as shown by replacing server1, server2, etc… with the names you've got noted down, save and close the file.
Returning to the Vidalia control panel then stops and restarts the Tor service.
Done!
If you are curious, go to http://www.whatismyipaddress.com and see what country your new IP address comes from.
